Nursery Worker

Job Description:

This person will be caring for group of preschool and nursery children during our weekly Sunday morning services, Wednesday evenings, and special events.

Must be 18 years or older and must pass a background check.

Responsibilities:

- Provide childcare and early childhood education to children in a nursery setting
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized nursery environment
- Communicate with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Collaborate with other nursery staff to create a positive and nurturing atmosphere

Skills:

- Experience working with students or children in an educational or caregiving setting
- Knowledge of early childhood development and age-appropriate activities
- Ability to engage and educate children through play, storytelling, and creative activities
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to handle challenging behaviors
- Understanding of special education needs and accommodations for children with disabilities

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7 – 10 per week
